Monday Devotional: Blessed and ready!

Today read: Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

and all of Isaiah 61

Have you ever got to a place where you’re ok no matter what appears to be going on around you AND You’re tired of needing something from someone all the time. You know God can fill every single place in your broken heart if you just go to Him, and there will be joy and dancing and love overflowing no matter what!!!?

I’m there, and I want to help you get there too. (and stay there)

I am okay, I know that my comforter is always with me, and He is good.

I know I can’t live this “normal” Christian life a lot of us settle for, in needing something all the time to make us feel better about ourselves. I know that it’s time to run, run out into the wilderness the desert the street and comfort others right where they are. To actually be the hands and feet of Jesus while I’m on earth. To leave the group, to leave my comfortable seat to go out and find the one captive.

Send me Lord!

I will go. (Isaiah 6:8)

Lord, today we pray that we answer Your call and go where ever You send us with a happy, expectant heart to see Your glory! That we lay all the ashes of our plans of what coulda, shoulda, and woulda been, our losses, and heartbreak at your feet so You can make them beautiful and new. We thank You that You bind our broken hearts and that You are always faithful. We thank You for real freedom- In Jesus Name, Amen
