I’m not the person you want to hang around if you feel the New Year is cliche. I love it. I love to encourage everyone to seek the Lord for a word, for direction, to dive deeper into scripture and be around like minded believers that are full of hope for a new year! Granted we can start over each day, and do these things anytime during the year as well. BUT words, numbers, times are important to God. He loves to make things new, so I wholeheartedly believe He loves the excitement around anything “new”.
I wanted to briefly share a practice I started several years ago, recapping the past year and praying and declaring things for the next- but also asking God for a word to kinda sum up what the new year holds for me. You don’t have to do it the way I do, and it can be more than one little word. There aren’t any rules, but friend, always seek first the kingdom.
A few weeks ago God started speaking the word Radical to me- and to be honest I did not know if I even liked that word ha!
But it started to grow on me, the more time I spent in prayer and in the word. I started to see a blueprint for some things in the next season for many not just myself and let me tell you… it is gonna take radical faith, radical love, radical obedience but then we will also see radical favor, radical provision, miracles and signs and wonders!!
So I’m here for it! How about you?

Lord, let my life glorify You on this earth by faithfully doing everything You told me to do, in Jesus’ name I pray- AMEN
