Hello friends. I hope these words find you well, and excited for 2023. I sure am. 2022 was a whirlwind here, so much beauty and change. First things first, to my loyal subscribers and readers- Thank you for hanging on with me.

As you can see the domain name has changed, from life on Emerald Hill to Shannon R Hess… why? Well a few reasons, but the biggest one is because a move is on the horizon. I will share more of that as we go. But also my first self published book launched in January 2022, and the name change makes it easier to keep everything together and to share things for me. Also my subscription letter Grace Journeys is in it’s second year, and we took a big step and launch a website specifically for it. Both of these things you can find links too on this page in the drop down menu. Also Monday Devotionals are coming back too.

My heart hasn’t change, I just want to write and share with the hope of drawing people closer to God along the way. Because He is good, and He loves you. So here is to new dreams, new trails and new adventures! I pray 2023 is full of real freedom, real life and real love for you each. Happy New Year!
